I concede to what you are saying.

It seems to be a general trend across all beliefs that
people pick up bad things from any source, but they will not
pick good things from the same source.

for that matter, entire egypt's conversion to moses' sayings
was under pressure to avoid all those epidemics that moses
or his newfoudn god had kept on unleashing on them.

It is not possible to make a community better. At least, it
is everyones responsiblity to contribute his two cents. but
some find easier way out.

It is a matter of vulnerability of individual that he let's
go of his faith for worldy pleasures. 

Thus conversion is like a rape of a minor girl or looting a
tiny kid who can't defend themselves.

The beliefs which approve of conversion are in essense
approving of these acts. It is more like poaching.
