Dear All,

I was considering the wrath Muslims face these days and I think of a very
tragic situation my muslim friends find themselves in. The problem here is
that what does one do if he/she is born in a culture or Ideology that has
its flaws?

I am not talking about just about Islam here, but even the other religions.
How should we deal with them? I think Christianity provides a good example,
where reinvention is a way of life. Hinduism is the soul of India, so has
always been tolerant--maybe not so in past few decades. However, where Islam
has had its trouble is in rejecting interpretetions to a good measure.
Still, that shouldn't stop those who realize the flaws to try to set things
straight, atleast for themselves. I should say, if one is born in a flawed
Ideology or religion, he shouldn't be made a victim of their legacy. I
think, Christianity has learnt many of its lessons in the centuries as even
this religion has had its share of blood-baths. It might take another few
centuries for Islam to learn as well. In the meanwhile, I suppose, tolerance
is the keyword--for the Muslims as well as their bashers.
