Bhavin and Hiroo, You are very right; we can go on telling stories of our
stregths stamina if compared to todays times; 

some from 40s 50s 60s; used log tables,  slide rule Faber Casel (Aristo
was also available, but coslier) ;walk up n down 3rd floor stairs; walk
to school, to station to fro college ; hardly fell ill; and if sometime
severe, go to doctor a few blocks away, who gave mixture pills for 1 2 Rs
and made us wel in 1 2 days, mostly wud do with pills from bidi cigaret
wala malbari 
shop or home cures like some time when v kids had too much loose stools 
mother wud burn a paper and feed black charred paper with 'madh' honey
and stools wud be ok the next day, free inoculation in schools, govt
hospitals JJ Hosp, in free dispensary in Hasham Premji Musafarkhana; 
this Hasham Premji grand father of present software billionare Azim
Premji; when TV came, since many did not have, people wud allow neighbors
in their homes; More as i recollect more of interest

EID ABHINANDAN / MUBARAK

i think Abhinandad = Mubaraki; Mubaraki means more barakat, which means
more plentiful in good respect. Please advise correct meaning of
Abhinandan.

Anna: Can I enjoy too? 

Choice is yours. However, may i mention, that when one does a good deed,
enjoyment comes naturally, 
an enjoyment which one feels within , and at times 
one is even not able to describe it to others; 

Rohit : Eid is declared by the Muslim priest upon locating moon in the
sky. 

It is on the day after sighting of the first crescent 
(called 'hilal' in arabic) at the end of the month of fasting viz Ramzan
