You have touched a point I was confused about.

English astronomy mentions a new-moon. Does that mean
amavasyaa when there is no moon. You have taken it to mean
that in the above.

But when there is no moon how can be a first day of a
new-moon, or a last day of old-moon. :)

Please clarify. I assumed that new-moon day means when the
new-moon is sighted.

Good to see a sensible union as compared to
viva-la-saffron-solidarity that has been working
well-coordinated till now.

What if Dr Taher had been sending
html/dhtml/xml/gif/jpeg/mp3/mpeg/ra/dat love-letters to his
remaining three wives.

You see they might not take it lightly to be addressed:
"BlankDarling Munne kii ammaa".

Dr Taher is well protected under shariat that women can't
give divorce, but he better beware of three women scorned.
