But to those who cut the beast and put in the stomach makes hardly any
difference. This may not be a news item for them. We must consider that
factor also.

Rohit Zaveri.

Rohit bhai ,

Perhaps killing animals for food is natures` way of maintaining balance.
Millions of animals are slaughtered worldwide each day. Yet there is no
shortage of animals. Imagine a scenario where this slaughtering is stopped.
Within no time , there will be an overpopulation of these animals leading to
unimaginable consequences.

Personally , I am a vegetarian . I have seen animals being slaughtered and
experienced a strong urge to try and somehow stop the slaughter. I am
disturbed even when I see a predator pouncing upon its prey in the forest ,
that too on TV !

But then , it is all a part of mother natures design. Athough we may not be
able to reconcile with the idea of killing for food , it has to be accepted
as gracefully as possible. Same applies to other "killing" mechanisms
adopted by nature like earthquakes , storms , floods , droughts etc. We
feel terribly sorry for its victims although it is a part of natural design.

This is my view and not a justification.

Farook.
