Gireesh bhai,

It is a pity that some societies are influenced by ignorant "mullahs" who
manipulate religious teachings to exploit others . They must be tracked down
and punished . Unfortunately it seems there are vested interests who stand
to gain from all this.
However it will not be correct to say that all muslim women are ill treated
! On the contrary , majority of muslim women find themselves at par with
their menfolk.

 Islam NEVER discriminates against women . The teachings of Islam or any
other religion upholds decent behaviour.
Religious manipulation makes the manipulator an atheist - a kaafir. Even
this term "kaafir" is frequently twisted to look as if it means non-muslim !
