These things keep happening not only in hindu society but also in every
society where economics takes precedence over ethics and morality .

It is really very strange that many pursue these and other evil deeds at the
cost of losing their peace of mind and happiness. May be the increasing
abuse of alcoholic drinks is an indication of this phenomenon.
