Dear Farook,
You are wrong. Hinduism approves people discontinuing to be 
Hindus. There is no penalty laid down against it, no fatwa, no 
laments if a Hindu declares he is no longer a Hindu. For your kind 
information, Hinduism is so liberal that even belief in god is not 
necessary to be a Hindu, nor a single visit in a life time to any 
temple. An atheist can very well be a Hindu. That is the height of 
liberal Hindu thought!
