Is this anti-alcohol consumption angle from the islamic point of view ?
What is abuse ? Regular / excessive drinking ??
Abuse of alcoholic drinks really leads to 'brasht-achaar / vichaar' ??
Hard to believe, since some of my hard drinking partners are very 'good'
guys !

Maybe people should switch to milder drinks like beer and grape wine
(naturally generated alcohols), whih have proven health benifits, instead of
hard liquor (distilled alcohols).
