Kalloor Venugopal asked Farooq : You may go back to the history and
recollect your memory what Tipu Sultan has done in Malabar areas against
Hindus. 
He has done everything what Pakistan Army done in  Bangladesh.

Mr. Kalloor Venu, do you still live in Tipu's era? Granted that Tipu
forcefully converted many Hindus. During the 1921 Moppila Lahala (Khilafat
movement) too there were forced conversions to Islam. So, what can we do
about it? Nothing. The descendants of those Hindus converted during Tipu's
time and in 1921 are now voluntary Muslims who may not even know about their
Hindu ancestors. There is no point in digging up past dirt and spilling it
on them. They are not responsible for what happened in the past. 

Farooq is talking about the present day Kerala. It is to the credit of
Keralites that there is communal harmony despite the past. Help us to keep
it that way.
