In West Bengal, the communists have Hijacked the Puja celebrations to
create Vote Banks in the same way as Shiv Sena in Mumbai, also the
subscriptions to the Durga Pujas go to the Party, thus keeping it cash
rich...

Needless to say the Puja Pandals in Calcutta disturb traffic and flout
all possible rules...

But it's fun to move around Calcutta checking out the pandals and
statues of the Diety, they actually theme out the Puja Pandals...
