Dear Hindi lovers,
This message maybe off topic for this group, but how else will I 
reach all hindi lovers on the web?
Sorry, I am writing this message in roman script, as I don't know if 
all of you are in a position to read devanagari on your machines.
There is a group called
http://groups.yahoo.com/group/linux-bangalore-hindi/
that is meant for discussing linux in Hindi.
It is meant to increase awareness, and tech support for linux in 
Hindi.
Also, it is an exercise to find out the problems people face while 
communicating on the web using Hindi.
Only when we start using devanagari will the usability of Hindi on 
the web increase.
Therefore please have a look at
http://groups.yahoo.cm/group/linux-bangalore-hindi/
You don't have to be a bangalorean to join, should be just able to 
read and write Hindi, instructions for that are given in the groups 
home page, and also when you send mail to
linux-bangalore-hindi-subscribe@yahoogroups.com 
to join the group.
You will have to set the view->encoding to utf-8 on your browser to 
view the pages
