that, and feed the jpeg pages to these software, would it

it does not work like that.

ocr works with a scanner, so first you must have a scanner installed.

ocr will read only the chr that come with ther bundled s/w.

if a font that is not in the bundle is installed in your pc it may be read

with mistakes.

making the pc recognise fonts is difficult. lots of parameters to be defined

about how much length, width ,at what degree a branch occurs, the curves etc



that is why it is professionally done.

if a book is printed in a font that comes in the bundled s/w of course you

can scan and convert it to edtable file.
