Most of Beethoven's masterpieces were composed while
he was deaf. He had inside him music that would not be
stilled by life's circumstances. His music triumphed
over suffering.

Ah! Beethoven... celestial music... inspiration for the soul !!

An interesting reality to note is that... every great human being
with an exceptional gift of some sort has an equally challenging
impairment or handicap. And to some extent...greater the gift, the
greater the cross to bear. For example... Itzhak Perlman had polio,
Beethoven was deaf, Roosevelt was crippled, Stephen Hawkings has
Lou Gehrig's disease.

So... is suffering the parent of genius ???
But why should anybody suffer? Why is life so unfair to some of us?
Perhaps only God... in His infinite wisdom... knows the answer.
...
   So as my life's pattern continues...
   And the next part begins to unfold,

No... true music from the heart will never be silent... because
it has learnt to triumph over pain and suffering.
I have always seen that people who have suffered... in some way
or the other... are compassionate people. And these compassionate
people always build up their own reservoir of peace, confidence,
creativity, excitement and resourcefulness... and then generously
share it all with the rest of the world...
   ... and forever remain an encourager of others...
   ... a source of incredible inspiration...
   ... and an eternal symbol of patience and perseverance...
