How much lower -- that is the question? Can we go any lower? Why
aren't we fighting physically yet? And they say, with so much pride,
India is a nation which shows Unity in diversity. I can see only one
universal sentiment here, hatred.

I don't think this mail dignifies even a reply, but I am doing this
because a significant minority (I hope it remains a minority) thinks
that they are justified in talking high about a place where they just
happened to be born, and so people from elsewhere in the nation just
managed to get in, and progress, resulting in overall progress of the
place, and now, finally, they want these immigrants out!


Out you go, yes you, dirty Bihari, bhaiya, mallu, punju, bengali,
maddu, gujju, or whatever dirt you are, you don't suit this place! Why
O why? Oh, you see I have a change of mind, I think this place is now
too good for you. So, I would next tear that board which says welcome
to Bombay, next we are going to build a German colony here. You know
Germans are very clean people. They would do some great studies, and
tell us Maharashtrians how clean and good we are. They will also tell
us how much more efficient we have become after those dirtbags left
the place.

These dirty sleeves, what are you doing? Are you trying to infect us
with this? Yes, that must be it. I always knew that you immigrants
were no good. Why do you exist? Why is there a Bihar, a UP, a Punjab,
a Bengal...so many places? Can't we just have our great Maharashtra?
We don't need India, do we? Jai Maharashtra!


Myjo, I don't know how you could muster to say all that. Come on, grow
up boy; if your mail address, which seems to say that you were born in
'71, is true, then it's really high time you did. Your silly
assertions fail your age, if you have really seen as many years of
life. Anyway, we could do without this infantile piffle. People have
better things to do. I do, if you worry. I don't know about you, who
have managed to get so much of hatred in that little piece of meat, we
call heart. And Ms. Pawar, from you, I have heard more rational
things.

The sorry state is clear from the fact that most other Maharashtrians
seem to give silent consent. It's these so called immigrants, and the
neutrals like me, who have raised a voice. Does that mean that we are
really experiencing such pollution of minds?


Here, in IIT, we always believe in pulling some legs but getting them
all in line when it matters. Now, at a time, when the nation
experiences one of it's greatest catastrophes, if we fight on like
this, I don't think we even need India. Anyhow, India doesn't need
such unworthy children.
