Folks,

At first I thought that the message blaming the 'outsiders' for the 
problems was a prank. No one could seriously think that way, right?
The irony was just too great for it to be real.

First off, using 'immigrant' to describe fellow countrymen is downright 
wrong and derogatory. And shifting the blame to this group (which is
not even a cohesive group - if you go back far enough, aren't we all
outsiders?) for something as pervasive as pollution is just shifting the
blame. A classic case of creating divisions instead of solving the
problem at hand.

Others have expressed similar sentiments in a much better way so I won't
go on. But I am really, really surprised at this sort of divisive 
thinking. 

'Them' vs 'us' works only in sports and war. Living in Mumbai is 
definitely no game and I sure as hell don't want it turned to anything
remotely war-like.
