Don't you worry - this scheme is for 5 years - to see that UPA is voted back to 
power by the minorities.
I'm sure not only Ramprasad but also an Ahmed here or a John Doe there will be 
wooed by the NDA with similar schemes.

Net net, this will not have any effect on conversion. For 60 years we have seen 
and lost count of schemes to uplift the country's poor and backward, and they 
have become poorer and more backward than ever.  As usual, very little of this 
scholarship money is going to reach any children.

At least some fortunate (or connected?) people can make the pilgrimages
to Mecca or Manasarovar on OPM (other people's money). Rejoice for them, or ask 
Ramprasad to try for that pilgrimage.
