[nukkad] Migraine Remedy

Hello,

a good friend of mine suffers of heavy migraine attacks (headache, nausea, 
sometimes aura in advance)  once a month at least, each lasting up to three 
days.She tried a lot of remedies during the past thirty years. Some of them 
helped, but always only for a few  months, then it started a new. She tried all 
usual pain  killing remedies, acupuncture  in combination with other TCM 
advices and remedies, she swalows Petadolex regularly but nothing really 
relieves her from this terrible, unbearable pain. She cares to go to bed and 
get up regularly, she avoids all food items that are considered being a trigger 
for migraine, all in vain. She told me that  she felt so desperate two days  
ago that she was about to swallow a handful of pain killers in order to end up 
this drama. She said it was only for a second that  she thought about it, but I 
am scared. I want to help her!
That's why I ak here on nukkad if anybody can suggest some more remedies.

I forgot to mention that she isn'T allowed to take  any kind of triptan, 
because she suffers of high bp, and she has to take Betablocker, valsartan and 
a low dosage of a diureticum daily.

Hoping that some of you may suggest any help.
