I dont think its fair to classify such things. Its not the anti virus that
matters, but the configuration of the software. The settings have to be
right, and have to be manually done because only the user knows what exactly
the internet is being used for.

I personally use a combination of NOD 32 Smart Security, Lavasoft Ad Aware
SE Professional, Windows Defender and Tune Up Utilities for my system, and
they work like a charm.
