Maybe I missed the part on your recommendation on
Avast. Its is neat package. Glad that you also use
Comodo Personal Firewall. Like you had put my faith
behind their antivirus, when first launched. I used
this product on a test PC for a while. Although its
less resource hungry, I found that it failed to detect
several worms and virulent codes. Its true the blokes
put a lot of work in their security applications, but
one cannot build a million dollar program overnight.
If you check the code of their anti virus, it'll read
like avast all over. Launched nearly two years ago,
the anti virus has still not received the kind of
ranking other freeware anti-virus programs have
received. 

Regarding the clash between two programs, if you wish
to use AVG Free with Comodo Personal Firewall, make
sure that you install the latter last on your PC.
Regarding Outpost.... have you tried Ashampoo Firewall
or Antivirus programs... if yes, you will understand
what I mean.

It might be of interest to the list, that the beta
version of Firefox 3 has just arrived.
