[nukkad] photos

hi

i used to store pictures / photos in gif and jpg formats in separate folders. 
one fine day i found that many of the pictures have been converted in some 
different file formats viz .htt, .ini and .ocx while some remained as they 
were. i am unable to open these converted pictures.

why this may have happened? how to undo this if it can be undone.
