Friends,
What opinions do you have on whether their is a true participation of the women folk in all aspects of the Indian society.
We observe the following things :
1. In most of the schools(whether in cities or villages)the number of boys present in a class always is morethan the girl students. Why is this so,why are the woment folknot allowed the basic right for education.Don't they have equal brains as the boys.
2. If you see any cricket match or a public gathering ,visibly in the crowd we can see a greater percentage of men and absence of women. Now are the men of India not confident of their behaviour with women in public or is it that the women folk don't want any external public exposure which is very necessary for the development of mind and personality.I think women folk should be given all freedom to witness the public events with same equality.things may be little better in big cities and cosmopolitans thanrural areas, but overallwomen in India need tocome out.
3.Why is it that after 50 yrs ofindependence most of the household work is shared by the women folk, wheter it be mother, daughter or sister.
4. Families celebrate the birth of a boy child with
more enthusiasm than
that of agirlchild,
Why is thsi indiscrimation still existing.
No body should feel personally offended by the
views expressed above.
All the above can be
easily observed all over India. We need togive more
freedom to our women folk for the betterment of
society.
