[nukkad] How to scan mails before downloading

In this month Jan'02 Digit (Old name CHIP), there is a beautiful
(informative) article on virus and their prevention.

Please do read that article. might be on the site also. It does clarify
a lot of things about virus and antivirus scanning. It mentions several
resources also.

(there are two cd with every issue. In this issue, there is latest
Netscape 4.79. Thus, in any case, you can say goodbye to MS-outlook
express, and face less virus. 99% of virus are written for
outlookexpress.)

It mentioned that there are programmes available which scan mails for
virus "before" downloading a mail, and then delete, if found infected.

As for as I know, Norton as well as Mcaffee first download mail and then
scan for virus.

It shall be real helpful if someone could post info/url about any such
programme which scans mails before download.
