I doubt that any website will have this data. The best 
option is to contact some industry pubication like Screen
and ask them if they have this information.

There are a couple of books on Bollywood - 'Encyclopedia of Indian 
Cinema' and 'Directory of Indian Film-Makers and Films'  - but 
they are out-of-date and do not cover the period you are looking for.

Also, try asking this on the rec.arts.local.movies.indian newsgroup.
People there are movie buffs and may be able to compile the details.

BTW, it would be wonderful to have this (and other film-related
data) online. It could be the imdb.com for Bollywood.

I haven't see it but Kaa.Nte is "inspired by" Quentin Tarantino's 
"Reservoir Dogs". I have seen RD and it is one of those movies
that raise the same questions. It is a very violent movie and 
some of the scenes are quite disturbing. It is one of those
movies which you either absolutely love or absolutely hate.

I imagine Kaa.Nte is somewhat similar.

The film is funded by private money, not govt. funds. As such,
the producers and financiers are free to waste their money as 
they wish. 

As for false publicity, does anyone go to see a movie based
on where it is shot? Exotic locales can't rescue a bad
movie.

I couldn't get to netkhazana.com but will look at the others
