Counting in binary is just like counting in decimal,
     if you are all thumbs.

I couldn't get to dreammerchants.com (this is an unused domain, up
for sale) or netkhazana.com.

I checked out emanthan.com and it seems like a classic pyramid
scheme. It is an interesting coincidence that the header for
your message was "Beware of Amway desis" which directly applies
to such companies too.

I mean, any company that asks you for nearly Rs. 16,000 to join
them sounds a bit suspicious. Their website has very little
useful information and many pages including seemingly important
ones ('Join Us!' and 'Member Area') do not exist.

I couldn't find out what kind of work do the members do
other than recruiting other members.

Their business plan (http://www.emanthan.com/business.html)
is a classic pyramid scheme. The more people you attract,
the more you earn. This works sometimes if you are among the early
adopters. But once a few dozen people are part of the group,
your chances of recruiting someone and making money reduce
sharply.

You only need to look at the 'Marketing Tools + Bonus' table
on the business plan page to see how ridiculous the scheme is.
Who ever heard of multi-crore bonuses?

These URLs are very specific to Amway but they do help
in understanding the general multi-level marketing schemes:

* http://skepdic.com/amway.html
* http://www-2.cs.cmu.edu/~dst/Amway/

See? Once you start thinking logically, their plan is exposed
as making no sense at all.

You are right about the stupidity of paying to watch ads online.

BTW, this message at
http://www.fxboard.com:8081/messageboard/jsp/view.jsp?login=indore&msgid=2117
says that some of the "projects" from emanthan include typing text from
some pages they give you. As the recent discussion on OCR showed, this
can be easily done with a scanner.

So far I haven't seen anything that lends even a shred of credibility
to this company.

Regards,
Harshal
