Even an educated society doesn't ensure that there
wont be any oppression or discrimination.

Educated people with a myopic vision,narrow
thinking,lacking empathy,rude behaviour,self centred
outlook and with shallow egos are found
everywhere..there are a lots and lots of them..

Education just increases the probability of a person
developing into a good citizen and huamn
being,however,it doesn't ensure anything as such.

Otherwise why would we see the cases of sexual
harassment and gender bias in organizations?

Why is it still difficult for some people to treat
everyone with equality even after more than 50 years
of independence?

Why do we have the cases of burning brides?

Why dowry?

Why increasing number of old age homes in India?

Why communal riots?

Why is the country plagued with corruption?

Why so many burning issues in a country which probably
could boast of having the largest number of middle
class families?

Indian education system is supposed to be one the best
ones in the world..we have got a distinct advantage
over most of the countries in the world in terms of
educated manpower...

The country churns out millions  of professionals
every year...

Even one simple lesson learnt at any phase of life
would solve most of our problems :Listen to yr inner
voice

Even then why is it so difficult to learn ?

Education is not a panacea ...Otherwise also - whats
the right meaning of education?

I sincerely feel we develop literates ...some are
illiterate,some are just lit. ,some more lit,some most
lit. and very few are educated.

Why does it happen?

What can we do about it?

Though things are undergoing a definite change,it
could be and should be at a much faster pace.
