I really couldn't get the underlying meaning of the
above line.

Why is a woman having a edge at all for whatever
reason?

Does it mean a woman understands the meaning of love
better than a man?

Since I'm not very sure of what exactly you meant by
wrting the said line,I wont comment.I want to know
first.
