This film song is a beautiful example of ghazal used in
filmy style and bocome very simple and popular.

One sher from it. I think most of the people singing it
might not be knowing its meaning, so it is here.

is dil me.n abhii aur bhii zakhmo.n kii jagah hai
abaruu ki kaTaarii ko do aab aur ziyaadaa.

zakhm: wound
abaruu: eyebrows
kaTaarii: big knife
aab: sharpen the cutting edge

There is ample place remaining in this heart to bear the
wounds. Sharpen the knife of your eyebrows (and attack me).
