in response to Mr Rawat's mail:

I have got soft copy of the book "Anthem" written by
Ayn Rand.

All those who want to read her this book please mail
me,i would mail the book to them.

Its a small book and would occupy space of around 125
k in your mail box.

Its usually said that one if wants to get the basic
understand of her philosophy,should start with her
this book.

I like her philosophy which basically revolves around
supremacy of human
being,independence,self-sufficiency,the magic of the
word "ego",capitalism as an ideal system,people asking
to make sacrifices as having dark selfish
motives,truthfulness of human beings to themselves in
the terms of what they do about their
capabilities,freedom of spirit from all the norms so
as to make it capable doing something which could
justify the birth of a person,etc.

She talks about how the human race has been duped by
the established uncalled norms in the name of
humanity,equality and sacrifices.

She talks about different kind of philosophy which
aims at making people self-sufficient so that each of
them could contribute towards his/her development and
thus the development of mankind.As per her,that would
be the real service for mankind.

As per her,she doesn't want to live for another person
and similarly she doesn't want anyone to live or make
sacrifices for her (dont go by the literal meaning of
it).Everyone should be self-sufficent.This only would
push the mankind forward.

She argues against evils of socialism.

In her works she raises questions against established
norms which she found to be detrimnetal to the
competence of human being and in turn to the society.


Her views are really radical and thought provoking.

She also told once that she wanted to tell the people
who asked her whether  the kind of people who are her
central characters do exist in the real world,that
they do exist.As per her She found one such person -
her husband.

She died probably in 1974.
