I have had my share of contributions on hindu-muslim issue a few 
months back and have promised to Harshal that I am done on this. I 
am not going to resile on that promise. But your following mail to 
Deepak Karelia prompts me to ask a question out of curiosity.

Does the Hindu religion gives equal treatment to all caste ? If 
yes,
then why the DALITS are still not treated equally.

Do you think that taking DOWRY is against your religion ? If

then do you know any Gujrati family marriage which is performed 
without
taking dowry.

There is prohibition for selling LIQUOR in Gujrat....because of 
the
religion.? Then why its is easily available.

And what about all those who are doing smuggled trading with 
Pakistan on
Gujrat border ?

Why most of the share market scams are done by Hindu's .....

You are talking about the GODHRA massacre......Then why your 
firebrand
leader ADVANI
is ashamed for the GUJRAT RIOTS  and you are not ?

MY QUESTION:

Granted that there are flaws in hindu society. OK. So what? Does 
that give a license to muslims to perpetrate planned mayhem on 
hindus/hindu society/ Indian[read hindu] government? [For Bin 
laden and company, Pak included, India is hindu country and will 
remain so till there are hindus living here. Their religion casts 
a duty upon every muslim to kill or convert kafirs, and, promises 
rewards for doing so]. Is that sufficient reason for them to raise 
jihad against hindus?

Let me give you an insight into muslim thought. This was recited 
to me by Anirudh during the famous Delhi meet. Ani was, perhaps, 
in abu dhabi or nearby visiting relatives, whose next door 
companion were a friendly family, to whom, for a child, ani's 
relatives gave presents, something like a kitchen utensil set for 
the girl child. it perhaps had a lota or something like that. Lo 
and behold The girl, in all her innocence, tells Ani's sister that 
"Mom does not want me to play with these toys--these are HINDU 
TOYS!"

Another instance by Ani, same scenario. It was bakr-id. goats were 
being slaughtered all over the place in a manner that might be 
sickening to most of us. The neighbour's lady takes her 3 year old 
girl to the balcony to make her witness the massacre. Ani's 
sister: Why do you want this small girl's sensivities to be hurt 
by these gory scenes?

Answer: Yeh mussalman ki beti hai; iska dil mazboot hona chahiye. 
[she is the daughter of a muusalman; she ought to have a brave 
heart"

is muslim society without ills? Triple talaq, for example. But, do 
hindus kill muslims because their society is not perfect?

To clarify your thinking, muslims do not kill hindus because hindu 
society has ills. They kill hindus because as per their religion, 
non-believers have no right to live on this earth.

If my reading of your mail is wrong, please do enlighten me the 
relevance and purpose of enumerating the ills of hindu society in 
response to Karelia's mail which was basically about the emerging 
retaliatory pattern of  Hindus against muslim atrocities.
