Her philosophy is as radical as Marx's (Karl not Groucho) and 
just as impractical. Her ideas do have some merit but her 
unabashed enthusiasm for the individual and for capitalism 
don't stand up in the real world.

Society would not have been where it is if everyone looked out
only for themselves. Even the carbon atom forms strong bonds. 
Who are we - made up of billions of these atoms - to say that 
we won't bond with others? Just doesn't seem natural.

It is easy to say that you don't need sacrifices but the fact 
remains that we are where we are and who we are because so many
sacrificed so much. It is insulting and demeaning to these legions
to consign their sacrifices to the trash bin.
