sophisticated, partly under the influence of education, science,
democracy and industrialization, which brought riches.

Along with all the above, it was physical contact of India, through her
Hindu and Budhist
people, her books of religions and philosophy that the British, German and
other
western intellectuals started to question the doctrine of 'one book, one
prophet, one
religion, one God'. India's successful religious plurality clarified many of
their misguided
fundas. Other notable contribution came from Charles Darwin whose theory of
organic
evolution hit these religions at their roots.
