[nukkad] Age and Experience

Dear all,

Perseverance is a virtue, my father tells me, and you certainly have got
truckloads of that virtue, Samridhi!

I have just kept quiet on my age so that people don't start sizing me up,
but now that I have been getting too many noises, and little birds dropping
in my ears the announcements of the last date approaching, let me come clear
on this one.

I am 24 and an Aries. I am told that we (Arians) tend to fall in love very
often and feel its a new sunrise very often. I am also told that we tend to
invent the more illumunating sun on the foggy days. Well, I am just a common
man, so I guess, I should also just read what they say about us. I studied
in Bombay and that makes for my Nukkad association. Currently, I am in Delhi
and running my small consultancy business. Biographies suit the great, and
eulogies the dead; so, I will close it here.

Now that I have also come clean, I would hope for such small bios for each
group member--especially the elders like Homiji and Guptaji. Some of us have
great experiences to share, and certainly, some have. But, modesty makes
many of us not share them in more clear terms. I would love to know more
about these experiences and learn from them. Some days back, someone had
posted about Mrs. Parks--the woman who refused. These are the stories which
inspire, and I am certain, there are such stories amongst us, which will not
only inspire but also teach. Why not share these values, this priceless
knowledge, the with of the grey hair (and balding heads)?
