Okay, Raginiji, I think you have pinned it right. Still, I think, nukkad has
matured quite a bit off late. The last time I was on Nukkad, it was more of
a serious discussion forum, where Guptaji had just joined and Homiji had
only started to make inroads, and when Rajababu was very active member. One
would receive about 10-15 messages a day--quite a few of which were very
short and to the point. I would say, the Nukkad then was of very academic
nature, not having seen the young energy of Samridhi, and the flamboyance of
Guptaji, Rawatji, and Anna. I would know which question to ask to which
person, and would comment on the issue limiting the response to my
knowledge. This is something which has changed since. I try to extend
myself, feel more at home, and don't think twice about reacting--more of a
group of friends than acquaintances. And this is the reason, I want to know
more about people in the list. It might have something to do with my own
maturity as well, as I have started to realize that my personal life is as
much a part of me, and I am always involving it whenever I respond to
anything. As much as my personality is involved, it is the character of the
group and its people which define the whole communication. So, today, I am
really respect some of you, and really feel I have to something to learn
from you, and not compete in form of my opinions. Today, I am sharing with
you and not proving my aptitude.

(This is also a fact that I have some free time at my hand till this
weekend; but we are not going to talk about that!)

So, in the spirit of today, I am ready to open myself to the group and am
ready to embrace its people. In the spirit of today, I am willing to learn
more about you. In the spirit of today, I want to know you--not only as a
name or a number, but as a person: the complete self. And yes, in the spirit
of today, I am wholeheartedly myself and not my academic person, as I would
want all of you to be.
