Hey I was going through the same book at British Council...
It was very interesting to note that at once upon time the Western Line
which now terminates now at Churchgate, used to extend to Colaba, and a
Colaba Station existed, not only so, the Docks were also connected too
the train, so passenger of Ocean Liners could directly hop on to their
train and begin their journey of the Orient...
Anyone who could shed some light about the good old days of Mumbai...
Also the Pictures of my University are really amazing... it's really
worth comparing the pictures of Rajabai towers with those of passing
time.
Regards,
Maverick
It is not the answer that enlightens, but the question.

I guess I saw the same book as Aditi just that it was in a book store
across
from Breach Candy CLub.
It was rather expensive i remember and all sealed in cello wrap :)

When I was last visiting Crossroads, the bookstore, I saw a book
on the
pictoral history of Mumbai. I spent almost an hour looking
through it.
