I also feel that hacker theory is far-fetched. It is just server malfunctioning.

I think it could be related to the mails yo post to nukkad. I got the unsub 
message twice within an span of hours.

If I had been unsubbed on first message, there was no reason to get the second 
message as the server would have found that I am not in the list of
subscribed members.

And though I wrote in the last mail that I have lost emails posted in the list 
in the duration of my unsubscription, when I checked, I found mails
from nukkad in my box in the duration of my unsubscription.

I suggest that people should ignore the unsub message and need not go to re-sub 
again and again. check for  one day at least. If you continue getting
nukkad mails, and I think you should, it is all the well. It is a bug and no 
one is actually getting unsubbed.

O conspiracy theorists!
think about why you felt like jumping to that conclusion on the first chance.
