I would say do not look at it as a book of accounts where you track your gains 
and losses. 
Nukkad is a book the pages of which are filled by us and we give shape to what 
we like to see, read, hear and feel. 

So many of us spend a lot of time here, even when not responding and conspiring 
silently through each of the posts every time we come here. At times we are 
enthused to find something which touches our heart or stokes our curiosity and 
we venture out of our shells to speak. Some find solace in the words of a 
lonely soul philosophising in the lanes of a deserted Nukkad, while others take 
umbrage oblivious of the irony  of such soliloquies in a 'nukkad'. Some are as 
decided in their resolve to trash other religions, races and countries if only 
to glorify their own, while some are benignant souls ever ready to help folks 
with advice on computers and more. On cheery days there is a glut of jokes and 
forwards just as some days are as barren as winter. Through the thick and thin, 
nukkad remains a microcosm of our existence - a place we come to meet our 
friends, have a chat or two and maybe a fight once in a while, then sulk and 
brood in silence and come back
 with renewed vigour with a few lines or more, some forwards some original, 
some witty, some mundane.

Nukkad - a meeting place, a place where friends gather to discuss the
day's happenings.
