I dont exactly agree. Unfair though the verdict was I dont think it
was racist. Mike Proctor is a south african and he's been involved in
racism taunts even back home where even umpires have reservations in
the domestic panel. I dont know where the bias comes from but I doubt
it has anything to do with him looking down upon players of the
subcontinent just because of the colour of their skin.

We are still not aware as to what exactly transpired in the hearing.
Tendulkar's testimony is only for the time when he was in hearing
range. Lets remember that every person who gave evidence was cross
examined. The question tnedulkar would have been asked is:

"How can you be sure Bhajji didnt say anything while you were at the
non strikers end?"

Whereas Clarke & Gilchrist both vouch for the fact that they HEARD
Harbhajan say it. Which effectively makes it 3 on 1 (5 if you include
those who didnt hear it)

Either way, what is really interesting is how 'monkey' is termed
racist. I don't call my sister racist when she calls me a monkey
everyday.
