   More importantly, Monism or Manism is missing. Just before the advent
   of Islam in central Asia, Monism dominated lands and people from the
   banks of Indus to Mesopotamia. When advancing Arabs with the torch
   of Islam ran over Persia, it was under a mixed influence of old,
outdated,
   worn out and exhausted Zoroastrianism and Monism.
   Today very often many of us feel and do believe  ' afterall there are
hundreds
   of similarities in every religion and faith system ' and to prove the
point one
   may liken stanzas of one Holy Book with another, carrying more or less
   the same message to mankind in general. Thanks Moni ( or Mani ) for his
   ceaseless efforts to this effect. He preached a perfect combination of
Avesta,
   Vedas, Upnishads and Bible ..... and it worked for full nine centuries,
although
   in the main land India, west of Sindh, he could not muster up much
direct
   following, but what he preached gelled very well with the Hindu mind and
psyche.
   Great soul Moni ...................... and ofcourse before wrapping up,
one shadowy
   kick to Arya !!
