[nukkad] DEVDAS etc , this morn tv

preparing bf this morn about 530am
starting tv, showed zeetv showing
closing portion of Devdas movie (in blackwhite)
(during my kid youth times 40 50 60s
v called movie picture, film, cinema)

have never seen devdas nor heard its story;
hardly a few films; that was the way of our home
during those times

found the story very touching;
at the station where devdad (DilipKumar) gets down
station man (or was it the guard?) walks on the platform
along the train boogies with a lantern in hand
shouting the name of the station

the gaadi cart which dk boards has a lantern laalten
hanging at back bottom; and so on; me think
one can better enjoy appreciate when oneself watches this movie

next, was Shakti Sangram, religious preaching program;
and hearing preacher say words
amir, amiree a number of times pleased me;

next, again was a touching scene of flocks of devotees
singing religious song along opposing banks of a river
with open big flame  oil lamps in their hands
turning them in vertical circles, with mandirs along the banks
