[nukkad] Sindhi scholar-cum-writer Dr Motilal Jotwani

KARACHI, Jan 30: Prominent Sindhi scholar-cum-writer Dr Motilal Jotwani, 
72, passed away on Tuesday in Pune, India, due to heart failure.
 
Dr Jotwani was considered as one of the great research scholars of 
Sindhi language in India and Pakistan. He had received many awards for 
his literary works, including Padma Shiree Award, the highest literary 
award in India, from former Indian president Abul Kalam. Similarly, the 
Culture and Tourism Department of Government of Sindh had awarded him 
with Shah Abdul Latif Award in 2006 for his work on Shah Abdul Latif 
Bhitai, the famous Sufi poet of Sindh...........
