Hi,

I don't think the Bus conductor is empowered to do that. He can ask the
person to wait till the change is available or if he still doesn't have the
change (that rarely happens) he can ask the person to collect from the Bus
Depot. Actually, Raja should not have unboarded the bus. Because it was not
that he didn't have money, just that he didn't have the change and that
usually happens. Except the regular travelers, very few have the exact
change for the bus journey.

But, I feel these Bus Conductors and the Bus drivers are the worst you can
deal with in Mumbai. (Only next to the Taxi/ Riksha-walla's) These guys
feel that they have all the power in the world and can do anything. The way
they drive the Bus, skip the usual stops, make the passengers rush into the
Bus its horrendous. They don't even wait till all the passengers have got
down or got into the bus (Except the starting point). Lot many times I have
seen the last passenger being dragged with the Bus. Tell me, what can be
done? Any suggestions.

We can make complaints, shout about it. But, do they pay heed to it? Do
they really bother about the people around?
