COMMENT:
Please refer to the statement: "Mr. Tipnis is also the Supreme
Commander of all the 3 wings of Indian armed
foces.". This is not correct. That description attaches to the President of
India. Mr. Tipnis represents all the 3 wings by arrangement within the
defence ministry and the 3 service chiefs. That does not make him the
supreme commander.
