When u r a citizen of Indian that is your only
identity.

Maharashtrian, that's my identity.

I am absolutely taken aback to see such narrow
mindedness in our country. I  work in a software
consultancy where the marathi folks call the southies
names (gutlis or something like that) and the
southies calling the marathis ghaati.
I cannot understand how educated people can stoop to
this level and be so intolerant.  
Maybe the lesson about all men being equal never
really stuck in our minds.

****** If that wud have struck in our mind then
Christian Priests wud never have forcefully changed
the religion of those Adivasis in our Gadchiroli
district and Gujrat state.
   
And most hilarious remark from Vishwas goes like
this "...why it's so
surprising to u!!! I guess, is till recently
Maharashtrians never made their
voice out, which they r doing right now......."
 
It seems that Vishwas has not heard of a man called
Bal Thackeray.
Since the formation of the Shiv Sena the first thing
he did was agitate
against the Udipi restaurant owners and cause riots
in Bombay somewhere in
the early 70's.
And ever since he has been at it.
It is b'cos of such idiotic rabble rousing that our
country is coming apart
at the seams. And psychopaths like Thackeray are
controlling Bombay.

******* Hold on sir...please hold on here....it's
Mumbai not Bombay....and furthermore if u think that
psychopaths r controlling Mumbai..n if u think that u
r much much better than them, then may I ask u sir,
that did those psychopaths, r forcing u to stay with
them?? Sir, u have every choice to stay in ur own
society of non-psychopaths!!!
