KASHMIR ROYA

Kashmir roya, apne bhag khoya

Hindu raja, Muslim praja

Saal bitey abh, chein miley kabh

Hind kahe tu mera, duja watan kahe dujera

Dekho jehadi aa gaye, baki chein yeh kha gaye

Saudi, Kabuli, Chini, Hindi, Pakistani, Irani, Ruskuski*
Sabh ko padi Kashmir ki, kaise jage kismat uski

Suno sabh beruni bande*, ho gaye tum bade gandhe
Abh jao ghar tum apne apne, do Kashmirion ko un ke sapne

Kashmir ka faisla kare Kashmiri, tum jao sambhalo apni jagiri
Nahi to ek din aisa ayega, jabh tumhare desh me ghusenge jabiri*.

Meanings of outlandish words:
Ruskuski - Russian, also Rusi
beruni bande - outsiders, non-Kashmiris
jabiri - invaders, here mujahidins.

Whatever else has happened in Kashmir, this is certain that the
people of the land have little or no say of an independent nature
in their own affairs.

India has jawans in the streets, Pakistan has mujahidins mingled
amongst the populace.

Wherever this will go, one thing is for certain. When the battle here
is over, the same mujahidins will turn and invade first the land where
they were trained, and second the neighbors.

Maybe they are already there.
