Note that this is informative only.

If the thumb is stiff and inflexible, the temperament is likely to follow
suit.
If the thumb is very flexible, the person is impressionable, adaptable, open
to new ideas.

If the palm is more or less square, the person is more practical than
imaginative.
If the palm is more long than broad, the person will approach life through
creative thought.

If the ring finger is longer than index, the person is artistically
creative.
If the index is longer than the ring finger, the person will lead.

If there is an elliptical island in the thumb at the joint on inside,
success is likely.

For calculating span of life all 3 main lines in both palms need to be
considered.

All 9 heavenly orbs which figure in astrology can be found on the palm.

If the heart line [horizontal line nearest finger roots, beginning at inner
edge of palm] extends into mound under index the person will demand highest
sensibility and standards in choosing life's partner.

If head line [second horizontal line beneath heart line, beginning above
root of thumb] extends to the inner edge and is level, we have the A +
genius.

The palm is the mirror of what life holds for the owner in form of a
template which can be improved upon. The left palm will tell you [if R
handed] what came with you at birth, the R what you made of it.

Marriage[s] are marked at the inner edge of the palm in the small area below
the root of the ting finger and the beginning of the heart line. In
contemporary parlance this can also mean deep set attachments.

Your hand is the imprint you leave on the world. I writes what you think,
makes and creates, kills if you are so inclined, caresses, protects and
nurtures.
