Dear Nukkies
            So at last the past has caught up with a former dreaded bandit 
turned into a politician. I may sound  crude but let me say I hardly have 
any sympathy for Phoolan. It is poetic justice that she met a violent end 
similar to many victims whose life ended at her hands. I’m sure that a 
majority of those killed were innocent people. Putting on the attire of an 
MP doesn’t exonerate her of previous crimes. There may be many stories and 
justifications as to what made Phoolan into a bandit, but the ultimate fact 
is that violence doesn’t pay in fact it keeps on haunting you for the rest 
of your life. Taking law into ones hand is not a solution to any social 
problem.
