Hi,
First of all I would like to say that the list
which had started the topic does not looks like a very
highly reputed one, If they are as you claim them to
be they wouldn’t have initiated such a discussion .
They said that the British never “ considered
Hindustani Muslims because they were politically
unreliable since they were ring leaders of the 1857
revolt” This sentence in itself shows how much The
Hindustani Muslims wanted our country to be free from
the British.
Second the article is completely bias by only
stating that during the riot’s Muslim police were
supporting their religion. During riot’s, The Hindu’s
in the police were not doing the same?. I would like
to remind commissioner Tyagi’s case which is as open
chapter mocking in the face of Indian law. Where a
commissioner (not a hawaldar but a police personal at
such a high level) had been bias and killed the
innocent. And the recent Gujarat riots are also an open
chapter where many human rights organizations are
shouting on tops of the lungs for the involvement of
the government in the riots (but who cares?). The less
percentage of people in army and police is another
thing which show’s that the government is bias in
selecting officer’s you cant make a statement that all
Muslim’s are undereducated but even those who are
educated, when go for selection in army or police are
not selected on some or the other pretext (when the
same person is selected in office’s job). In the end I
would say the article was fruitless, bias and only
look at one side of the coin.

Bye,
Azim.b
