happened 60 years ago. Yet it is so painful to read. We are 
inflamed about 45 Hindus burned in Godhara in a day. 3 million 
poles killed in 3 years would mean 3000 jews killed daily for 3 
years! And the killers were NOT muslims. And, yes, the killing was 
done because of religion. And, there was no mandate for this from 
anybody except an individual maniac! In case of Islam, the average 
illiterate, communally minded muslim could be excused to some 
extent for carrying out the perceived will of Allah to exterminate 
the infidel, in accordance with the instructions of quran as 
interpreted. But what excuse did the Nazi Christians have for 
killing jews?

Jews have been persecuted over 2000 years. Why? What has been 
their fault? Is it not all because of religion? First, the 
christians want to kill all non-christians, mainly jews. [India 
was too far and too advanced for them in those days]. Then, after 
advent of islam, both muslims and christians wage religious wars 
against  each other and against jews. Industrial revolution brings 
supremacy to christian west and the muslims lie subdued. Phase one 
of industrial revolution was built around coal as fuel, which 
England and US  had in plenty. Then came phse two where the fuel 
changed to  with the advent of petrol and diesel engines. The Arab 
countries, sitting over oil reserves, became important once again. 
The response of the christian west was typical. First, allure 
muslims with peanuts to make them part away with their oil cheap. 
Second, if they resist, fight and bomb and subdue them. Third, 
support  the sheikhdoms, keep them  bribed and boozed, prop petty 
dictatorships [as they did in central america], and turn a blind 
eye to massacre of democracy there as long cheap oil keeps on 
flowing to the west. To hell with lack of development, education 
etc. in arab world. Punishment for human rights violations and 
child labour etc were only for China, India and Pakistan, who had 
no oil for US. The world champion of human rights did not see any 
evil in arab sheikhdoms as long as oil gushed forth.

And, when the cup of tolerance of the arabs is full and Osama bin 
laden, from Saudi arabia,[ the pamperer of US], an engineer 
himself, who has lived many years in US in his younger days, sees 
through the game and asks fellow arabs to crush the unjust, 
sinful, double tongued US might, the latter starts wondering in 
its pristine innocence: Oh, god! What did we do to make these 
silly arabs kill themselves as suicide bombers and 9/11 pilots, 
and kill INNOCENT US citizens? What was the crime of those 
millions of innocent children dying of disease and starvation in 
Iraq, just because of trade and transport embargo against it? What 
was the fault of the innocent Afghans living in their mud huts on 
which they rained bombs? What was the crime of poor farmers in 
open fields in vietnam on whom they showered the infamous napalm 
bombs?

This is all the power of communication. The west can get away with 
all this propaganda against islam because it weilds the power of 
Enlish language, the internet and the news barons who control 
news.

who knows who is devil and who is divine? Christians or muslims? 
These are the two largest religions. The third is china, a 
semi-religion in itself, if communism can be so called. Hindus, 
stable with their numbers, are content with that and their nirvana 
and karmic theory; jews, much smaller in numbers, are happy as 
long as their business prospers and they get a slice of palestine, 
if not the whole. The rest is OK with the world. Muslims can keep 
on seething in their own soup, and killing themselves in 
politico-religious suicides [ dreaming, all the while, of houries 
in heavens]. Who cares?

The above is written at the spur of the moment, as mail to nukkad. 
there may be inaccuracies or factually wrong statements. Please 
point them out. Also, please let me know what has been the real 
crime of jews that they have been persecuted all along. Also, 
please respond to my views above. I put forward the thesis that 
muslims are not all that bad as they are painted to be. That 
hinduism and islam can coexist and have coexisted and are 
coexisting in today's india, small frictions notwithstanding. That 
muslims in the world have been cunningly deprived of their wealth 
by the west, who have been happy to manouver things in a manner 
that muslim societies  do not develop. That this very lack of 
education, development and democracy has been held up by the US 
against muslim countries. I have no love lost for those who loot 
others and blame the looted when the latter complain and 
retaliate.
