What makes you think arya criticized you or is angry with you? Read his mails carefully. Not a single word of criticism or anger!

That reminds me of the analogy of ‘women, poets and confusion’ I wrote about earlier. He is just teasing you. Just as a wife would tell the poor, innocent, hard working  husband, “Oh, don’t try to be smart. I now know all that you do with that secretary of yours in the office, and why you come late.” And, when the husband asks her what all she knows, she would say: I won’t tell you a word. Arya is true to the type. Don’t forget he is a poet. Haven’t you heard: Never argue with a woman or a poet!
